QubicaAMF Signed as Presenting Sponsor of 2017 Teen Masters

Gary Beck's Killer B Promotions has announced that QubicaAMF Worldwide has been signed to be the presenting sponsor for the 2017 Teen Masters Championships.

The 21st annual event will be held at AMF Hanover Lanes in Richmond, Va., next July.

It was 1994 that AMF Bowling and Beck, Teen Masters' founder and President, first partnered on a major bowling event. That year, Killer 'B' Promotions promoted and produced the landmark $250,000 AMF Dick Weber Classic, a PBA event that brought 30 of the world's top bowlers to AMF's hometown of Richmond.

"I am excited to be working with QubicaAMF again," said Beck. "Our first partnership created a wonderful experience for the pro bowlers and their fans, and I am confident we will work together to create a magical and memorable experience for high school bowlers and their families next July."

QubicaAMF Worldwide Chairman, Pat Ciniello, said he has a special affection for youth bowlers because he bowled in youth leagues and participated in high school and college programs.

"Youth bowling is near and dear to my heart," said Ciniello. "QubicaAMF Worldwide sponsored the International Family Tournament for 15 years, and now we are proud to invest in bowling's future by helping such a prestigious event as the Teen Masters."

The Teen Masters is a premier championship event for high school-age and younger bowlers. For more than two decades, it has attracted participants from across the United States and around the world. The 2017 edition is expected to bring more than 400 families to Richmond for the week-long competition, which will be held less than two miles from QubicaAMF Worldwide's headquarters.

Qualifying leagues and tournaments leading up to the Teen Masters Championship will begin in October at bowling centers across the nation. To be eligible for the 2017 Championships, bowlers must be active students in good standing, born after Dec. 31, 1997.

Teen Masters sponsors, in addition to QubicaAMF, include Dexter, Kegel, the Professional Bowlers Association, the Kegel Training Center, and Richmond Region Tourism.
