The youngest ever participant

Alexandr Panchenko is the youngest ever participant in the men's section
The player from Kazakhstan is only 15 years old. Name of Alexandr Panchenko. He's still at school, of course (favourite subject mathematics). He's probably the youngest ever participant in the men's section.
He only started bowling 18 months ago and started bowling tournaments in March of this year. Since then he won the Kazakhstsan Cup and 2 stops of the Kazakh bowling tour averaging 255 in the 10 games of qualifying!! In the last tournament, his two final games were 278 and 258.

The Kazakh association has tried to copy the oil pattern for the Bowling World Cup so he could practice on it, and he's working with sports psychologists on the mental game.

He has won all the youth tournaments and is now banned from youth play as he is too good! he's ranked No 1 in Kazakhstan. and he wants to be a pro bowler when he leaves school at 17.

"I am very proud to represent my country, but I am not concerned about being the youngest player' - Alexandr said.
