What makes this country punch above its weight? Talent, and the talent is nurtured with an excellent coaching system. Sport bowling is highly regarded. Every little town seems to have its eight lane bowling centre so there are plenty of places to play.

After a week of competition, we have ourselves the final four bowlers for both the men and women squads. From 70 countries we have narrowed it down to 8 bowlers, all competing for the title of the 53rd QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup Champion.

With four former champions in our tournament, we look at the pressure that it is involved with being a past champion and trying to get back to the top.

With Mexico still in strong contention, England and Australia surge forward with big day 3's. Ray Teece leads the way for the men, while Rebecca Whiting holds on to second place behind the defending champion and current leader Jenny Wegner.
