QubicaAMF Grows Its Bowling Center Management School

07/26/2010 - 17:00 - Kuala Lumpur
As an extension of the Bowling Center Management School, QubicaAMF hosts dedicated Marketing Seminar in Kuala Lumpur.
QubicaAMF Worldwide, a leading manufacturer of bowling and amusement products, announces the launch of a new Marketing Seminar. The event ran from May 24-28, 2010, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The seminar was developed as an extension of the QubicaAMF Bowling Center Management School, which is held annually during the QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup, in a response to industry demand. Seminar presenters were QubicaAMF representatives, Roger Creamer and Rosa Katz.

“Since developing the original AMF Bowling Center Management School more than 15 years ago we have always thought that there was a need to help the busy bowling center manager better understand how to use marketing to grow their business,” states Roger Creamer, Regional Sales Manager for the UK and the Middle East for QubicaAMF Worldwide. “We talked to several customers and investors and found that center marketing was a critical area for their business, and one where they felt they could see great opportunity if the right knowledge and resources were made available.”

“This Marketing Seminar is the result of listening to our customers and delivering to them the tools, products and resources they need to not just operate their businesses, but to drive their businesses. By sharing best practices and providing useful tools, we are showing customers how these practices can be implemented in their facilities,” continues Rosa Katz, Senior Product Manager for Center Consultancy and Services for QubicaAMF Worldwide.

Roger Creamer has over 40 years experience in bowling center operations, and over 25 years in the bowling products business serving as a Regional Sales Manager throughout the European and Middle Eastern regions. Rosa Katz has over 15 years of combined marketing, center operations and bowling products experience. The QubicaAMF Bowling Center Management School Marketing Seminar covered topics including: principles of marketing, building marketing programs and marketing calendars, target segment identification and strategy, and dilemmas of a General Manager in a bowling center.
