Pinbusters™ winner gets ready to fly off to Malaysia

Little did Michal Skrok  from Poland dream that he would be jetting off to the QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup in Melaka, Malaysia, when he first played the new AMF® Bowling Pinbusters!™ game on his Nokia phone.

But after the dust settled, he came out on top of all the players who had registered a minimum of 18 games, so the trip for two is his!

Michal could hardly believe his luck – and nor could his father, Jacek, who will be accompanying him on this all-expenses paid trip to watch the 45th Bowling World Cup in November. The prize includes the flights, accommodation in the same hotel as the players and officials, entry to all the competition, an invitation to the QubicaAMF dinner and the winners’ banquet and $500 in spending money.
 

Michal and his father live in Warsaw where Michal works in the telecommunications industry for a company which supplies satellite internet, and also studies for a masters degree at the Warsaw University of Technology. He bowls himself but only on a casual basis with friends in one of the many bowling centres in the Polish capital.
 

Michal was clearly overjoyed to have won this prize. He commented: “This is amazing! I am so excited at the thought of going to Malaysia and watching this great event. I enjoy travelling and had to persuade my boss to let me have some extra days leave as I am already going to China for a month.  And it will be the first time that my father has been on a plane, so we are looking forward to a great experience.”
 

He will surely be supporting the two Polish players – Greta Frost in the women’s section and, for the men, Pawel Bielski who has played the tournament once before when the event was in Singapore in 2004. Pawel must have good memories of Singapore as he won the high game trophy with a perfect game.
